The Darien Gap

The Darién Gap is the one break in the road between North and South America. Everything else connects; that stretch you have to work through on your own. When Cameron Browne started Darien Advisors in 2021, that was the situation for most people building or investing with digital assets: the records lived in one place, the obligations in another, and nobody was responsible for the ground in between.

Cameron is a CPA who spent years inside crypto and DeFi before starting the practice, and kept meeting founders and investors with real tax questions and no one qualified to answer them. Darien was built to be that answer: one practice that keeps the accounting, the tax, and the planning on the same set of records, so the conversation starts before the deadline does.

Since 2021 the practice has served more than 1,000 clients, from individual holders and traders to protocols, funds, validators, family offices, and founders across Latin America, Australia, Canada, the UK, and Europe with US obligations. Offshore structures (Cayman, BVI, Panama, UAE) under a US parent are ordinary work here, not an exception.

The work is led by two CPAs and an Enrolled Agent, with more than twenty accountants, reconciliation specialists, and preparers behind them. You build and invest. We handle the books, the filings, and the planning.
